[La Gaite Lyrique](http://www.gaite-lyrique.net/?ref=protein.xyz) in Paris has transformed itself over the past few years from its origins as a traditional theatre, built back in 1759, into today where it’s re-establishing itself as the home for a wide range of disciplines across contemporary culture. Running from 18th June through to 7th August, the gallery goes street in a series of skate events. France is home to a huge community of skaters and the program is all about celebrating the individuals and the spirit that contributes towards their thriving culture. A jam packed schedule is lined up of skating events, films, parties, exhibits and gigs from the likes of [Dinosaur Jr](http://www.myspace.com/dinosaurjr?ref=protein.xyz), [Tommy Guerrero](http://www.myspace.com/tommyguerrero?ref=protein.xyz), [Mix Master Mike](http://www.myspace.com/mixmastermike?ref=protein.xyz), [Ray Barbee](http://www.last.fm/music/Ray+Barbee?ref=protein.xyz), [McRad](http://www.myspace.com/mcradband?ref=protein.xyz), [Lords of The Underground](http://www.myspace.com/lordsoftheunderground1?ref=protein.xyz), [Boys Noize](http://www.myspace.com/boysnoize?ref=protein.xyz), [Antipop Consortium](http://www.myspace.com/antipopny?ref=protein.xyz), [Busy P](http://www.myspace.com/busyp?ref=protein.xyz), Bad Shit and The Goat. As well as celebrating their colourful boarding community, the event will also address the future of the sport in [etnies](http://etnies.com/?ref=protein.xyz) founder, Pierre Senizergues, specially curated exhibit.
