The faux-aged look might keep the wave of nostalgia alive, but we can’t help but feeling an absence of [tangible memories](http://prote.in/feed/2012/09/the-instant-lab?ref=protein.xyz) whenever we look at our favourite Instagram photos. With that in mind, a new Kickstarter project is underway to rekindle the good old home projection times.

Designed by Ben Redford of Mint Digital, [Projecteo](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1209578799/projecteo-the-tiny-instagram-projector?ref=protein.xyz) is a tiny LED-powered slide projector that displays a selection of Instagram photos onto any wall. Reminiscent of the retro Rollei P35, Projecteo uses redesigned 35mm film wheels, which can store up to nine slides. While some brands are looking to [branch into the digital realm](http://prote.in/feed/2012/10/moleskine-photo-book?ref=protein.xyz), this charming gizmo captures the authentic pleasure of sharing your best, and sometimes worst holiday moments with your friends.

Although the crowdfunding campaign was launched only a couple of days ago, the team has already reached its $18,000 goal. A large number of projects that dissolve the boundary between digital and analogue photography are gaining momentum, which makes it an extremely interesting trend to follow.
