The New York and Milan based award-winning photographer has just collaborated with artist Maurizio Cattelan on a projectfor indie mag Toilet Paper that we're really into. Dubbed ‘the best magazine ever’ by the [New York Times](http://www.nytimes.com/?ref=protein.xyz), Toilet Paper sees Pierpaolo Ferrari’s surreal, unique and unnerving photography take centre stage, from a blazing car crash in the background while smiling peace-sign bearing girls smile in the foreground to finger nails crawling out of a carpet (see above).
