London label [Young Turks](http://youngturksrecords.tumblr.com/?ref=protein.xyz) (the team behind [Missing](http://www.prote.in/en/feed/2012/12/missing-sonos-x-the-xx?ref=protein.xyz) and [Coexist](http://www.prote.in/en/feed/2012/09/coexist?ref=protein.xyz)) teamed up with Converse to open a vinyl manufacturing plant at Coachella festival which allowed customers to choose anything from the YT catalogue cut to 12" vinyl.  
Each cut was done in real time, creating a bespoke, limited edition record for each customer in front of their eyes. Its interesting to see a project slow down the manufacturing process and highlights the increasing desire for limited edition product.
