Pac-man live on the streets of NYC. NY interactive-telecom kids are running pac-man real-time in an analogue \[read: living, breathing, humanoid\] version of the 80s arcade classic using parts of the Manhattan grid as a primary maze. Utilizing pdas and wi-fi, a human pac-man speeds around collecting virtual dots while being chased around by the ghosts. Put it in your mouth. While the web-site mpegs reveal the human EMU-lations of Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde to be lacking the dark-digital relentless terror-tec of the primary binary phantom originals \[4 grad-students running around in coloured sheets -yipes!\] the pace is full-on old-school frantic and the pac-man is running scared.

Watch out for the Protein remix hitting the streets of Shoreditch soon - a Hacked out Alien7 vs Robotronic Predator4 - don’t you just know it? Working title - To Live and Die in EC2.
