They have developed [Cascade](http://nytlabs.com/projects/cascade.html?ref=protein.xyz), a means to precisely analyse the structure of sharing activity on the web. Cascade acts as a datavisualization of the underlying structure of sharing information on the web, so if you’ve Re-Tweeted a NY Times article or [bit.ly’d](http://bit.ly/?ref=protein.xyz) one up to share with your followers, Cascade have mapped you into their system. This way we are able to see the lifecycle of a news story, see the shared conversations and the connections between the publisher and reader. With [Twitter](http://twitter.com/?ref=protein.xyz) undoubtably going mad tomorrow for the Royal Wedding, we're interested to see just who the influential sharers and contributors are - get Re-Tweeting, there's data to be visualized.
