Sculpt a surface composed of [tightly packed nanostructures](http://www.nanitenews.com/research/With%5Fa%5Fjolt%5Fnanonails%5Fgo%5Ffrom%5Frepellant%5Fto%5Fwettable.asp?ref=protein.xyz) that resemble tiny nails, then add a jolt of electricity, and the liquid on the surface slips past the heads of the nanonails and spreads out between their shanks, wetting the surface completely.
