It seems like what’s lacking from the restaurant scene these days is a spot of light pre-dinner entertainment. If the experience were to start before we even joined the table, something to really whet the appetite, perhaps a thoroughly average meal could be transformed into a pretty good one.

To prepare them for the gastronomic adventure they're about to embark on, experimental chef Pierre Gagnaire's London restaurant, [Sketch](http://sketch.london/?ref=protein.xyz), is offering diners a pre-course chromotherapy experience.

[Mycoocoon](http://www.mycoocoon.com/?ref=protein.xyz) is a colourful therapeutic installation from designers [Lanzavecchia + Wai](http://lanzavecchia-wai.com/?ref=protein.xyz) and [Marine Peyre](http://www.marinepeyre.com/5.html?ref=protein.xyz) that offers a multi-sensory experience based on the energy of colours. Visitors are invited to choose from a series of colours to determine their personality and mood before reclining on soft leather loungers underneath the immersive coloured pod of their choosing. Bluetooth headphones help to create an ambience by playing soothing natural sounds.

The team at mycoocoon are looking to build on the current experience by working with aromatherapists and nutritionists to produce scents and develop colour-coordinated foods and juices.
