The vision that every object in your life is web-connected and communicating with each other might not be so far off. Grabbing headlines at [CES](http://www.cesweb.org/?ref=protein.xyz)[ 2014](http://www.cesweb.org/?ref=protein.xyz) were all sorts of lifestyle management devices. First we had [Kolibree](https://www.prote.in/en/feed/2014/01/kolibree?ref=protein.xyz) \- the connected toothbrush that monitors and measures your dental hygiene - and then Mother, [sen.se](https://sen.se/?ref=protein.xyz)'s at home monitoring system.  
  
This helpful little device comes complete with a handful of sensors that can be attached to almost anything, making your home fully connected. As founder of sen.se, Rafi Haladjian proudly proclaims "the internet of things starts here". Designed to simplify your life, reduce waste and keep you in check, Mother can monitor and measure almost anything.  
  
Accompanied by an app, the household data is delivered in a clean, easy to digest format. As well as reminding you to water your plants, it can tell you how well you're sleeping, how much water you're drinking a day, how many calories you've burnt as well as moderate the temperature of your living room, and tell you if anyone's home.  
  
The first in what we predict will be a succession of similar home-specific monitoring systems, Mother is yet another device that strives to improve your productivity and wellbeing through intelligent data analysis.
