Most of us probably can’t remember the last time we used a paper map. The convenience of digital maps have left them largely redundant.  
  
Designer [Anne Stauche ](http://stauche.com/?ref=protein.xyz)has just developed a folding paper map that mimics some of the features of their digital counterparts. [Map 2](http://www.thezoomablemap.com/?ref=protein.xyz) zooms in when unfolded. Starting with an overview of a city, it then unfolds into a transit map, and then again into four equal section. Each one is a zoomed view of a city area. So far she has made maps for Berlin and London.  
  
It is interesting to see a case of reverse development like this where digital features are applied to a physical product.
