Starting in June, folks in Omaha Nebraska will be treated to rainbows twice daily. Comissioned by the [Bermis Centre](http://www.bemiscenter.org/?ref=protein.xyz), [Michael Jones McKean](http://www.michaeljonesmckean.com/?ref=protein.xyz) has mastered the [manufactured rainbow](http://www.michaeljonesmckean.com/rainbow.html?ref=protein.xyz) – using a series of high-powered jet pumps and custom fountain nozzles, water is sprayed into the air creating the conditions needed for a rainbow.

All water used is recycled rainwater and a solar system generates the power necessary to power it, meaning it really is only sunlight and rainwater making these rainbows, albeit just a bit trickier than usual.
