Japanese designer [Yuri Endo](http://www.yuriendo.com/?ref=protein.xyz) dedicated his master thesis at [IDAS](http://www.idas.ac.kr/?ref=protein.xyz) (Hongik University) to an interesting form of 3D projection for mobile devices. The project, dubbed Lumino Kinetic and Beyond, encompasses several prototypes: Luminous Specimen, Pepperpod, Lumino Kinetic Lab and Luminogeist.

The combination of 3D animations, glass prisms and an illusion technique called Pepper's Ghost creates a compelling, and slightly eerie, form of installation art. Practical purposes for Endo's Lumino Kinetic project might not abound, but it is nice to look at.
