Cult camera brand [Lomography](http://www.lomography.com/?ref=protein.xyz) has just made its first foray into instant film photography with its newest camera: the Lomo’Instant. Rivaling the likes of Polaroid and Fuji Instax, Lomo’s latest model builds on the latter, using its readily available credit card-sized film.

Unlike the Instax, the Lomo’Instant comes with a raft of features for shooting flexibility. Five aperture settings, a wide-angle lens, support for Fisheye and Portrait lenses, infinite long exposures, multiple exposures. These are all features that Lomography has built its name on, bringing the brand’s signature fun and experimental aesthetic to the world of instant self-developing.

Lomo recently posted a [Kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lomography/the-lomoinstant-camera?ref=protein.xyz)campaign for the vintage-looking camera – already obliterating its $100,000 target with 23 days still to go. Proof that although film photography has always enjoyed niche success, people are increasingly eschewing the throwaway nature of digital images in favour of lasting, physical photos.
