[Livre Echange ](http://www.livrechange.ch/?ref=protein.xyz)is an installation designed by Nathalie Faessel and [Didier Muller](http://www.hw12.com/?ref=protein.xyz). It is also a first free mobile, urban 'bookshop', open 24 hours a day. The installation is made up of suspended perspex huts, which have a cut-out slot for the books at the bottom. The idea is simple: city dwellers are invited to leave a book inside them, and pick up another one while they are there.  
The installation celebrates reading, paperbacks, and book-sharing. The installation was part of the [Design Biennale in Saint-Etienne](http://www.biennale-design.com/saint-etienne/?ref=protein.xyz), Lyon.
