To celebrate the tenth anniversary of one of the UK's largest hip hop events, an exhibition explores the role of breaking in hip hop culture and includes new work by five of the world's most respected hip-hop activists and graffiti artists. Masters in effect will be Tuff Tim Twist, East 3, Mode 2, Etch, and Dan Duce. The exhibition feature new work created independently by each of the artists, and will also include two large-scale collaborative pieces as artists pair off to produce two 20 x 20 ft canvases which will be unveiled to the public at the exhibition. There’ll also be a panel discussion taking place on September 8, on the impact hip hop and specifically B-boying and graffiti have had on the mainstream, and how it's going to develop in the future. Panellists will be Crazy Legs, Bill Adler, Mode2, Ekow Eshun, Jonzi D and Hooch. The Elms Lester Painting Rooms, 1-3-5 Flitcroft St, Lon, WC2. From 31st Aug-10th Sept, Mon-Sat, 12 Noon - 6pm. Entrance is free.
