Shadow Clock

This full wall clock by Hanhsi Chen and Chiyu Chen looks like a cool art installation but works as a clock. It’s a simple design that utilizes a conventional halogen bulb and a quartz clock movement mechanism, eliminating any problems with what paintings you should hang up to fill up empty spaces in your flat.

The light creates three different shadows each representing the hour, minutes, and seconds of the time. Unless you keep your curtains shut this clock will only work in the evenings but we reckon that the clock shadows will be perfect for summer nights.
