In the final weeks leading up to the start of the summer festival season Protein° Member, samurai.fm has announced the start of shows from the world√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s leading electronic music festival, Sonar. Sonar, now in it√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s 12 years of existence, has secured a place at the front of the world festival stage.  An established and reputed guide to the audio and visual electronic arts it attracts music fans from around the world who gather at the organisations global events or the main event held in Barcelona around the middle of June every year. A collection of day time showcases and all night club events as well as various multimedia presentations, conferences, debates and cinematic screenings it will host performances from the electronic elite with artists such as Miss Kittin, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Jamie Lidell and many more down to play alongside some of the hottest new talent from all over the world. In the run up to this years event, taking place from the 16 √¢‚Ǩ‚Äú 18 June, samurai.fm will be presenting shows from some of the stars of S√ɬ≥nar 2005 and post event will follow by broadcasting recordings of what will undoubtedly be spectacular performances.  Over the next few weeks samurai.fm will have shows from Ellen Allien, Compost Record√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Alex Attias and Ben Mono, Rough Trade√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Simon Russell and many more but it all kicks off this week starting with two mixes from hosts of one of the S√ɬ≥nar by Day showcases, French based producers of particularly fine techno, Freak and Sety from Circus Company.
