Apologies for those trying to access any of the Protein° sites Monday evening/Tuesday morning. Mediatemple our supafine host had some network problems, which are now thankfully all fixed.
Full explaination as follows:
“Earlier this morning one of the multiple bandwidth carriers that (mt) Media Temple uses for upstream connectivity experienced routing issues causing some of our customers to temporarily be unable to access our network. This routing issue affected only a subset of customers and during the period of this carrier√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s outage (mt) Media Temple√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s core network and hosting servers remained fully operational.
To remedy the matter, (mt) Media Temple engineers re-programmed its routers to use alternative carriers whose networks are free from any congestions or failures. Due to the original carrier’s failures and unforeseen issues, (mt) Media Temple has lowered that carrier’s network priority and will not be routing traffic through the carrier until further information is learned about the nature of their network issues.”
