We all know that MPEG4 is the future, so following many months of discussion and general bitching, the MPEG4 Systems license has finally been released ... or as Mr Koenen of the MPEG4 Industry Forum puts it, "this license is a further step towards realizing the full innovative potential of MPEG4, as MPEG4's interactive features, its Scene Description language (BIFS), its Object Descriptor framework and the MP4 file format are all specified in MPEG4 Systems."
