Kalashnikov - the name behind the AK-47 machine gun - is set to link its name with umbrellas, watches and even aftershave. The rifle's elderly Russian inventor, Mikhail Kalashnikov, has teamed up with a small German company that wants to use the Kalashnikov brand on a range of consumer goods.
