If you like our Chromo™ concept then you're going to love James Turrell. He has just opened his largest solo exhibition entitled "Projection Works 1967-69" at the Albion Gallery at it's Pure Protein°.
From the site, "The main exhibition will present a selection of unique light installations from Turrell's first series of works with light - the Projection Works, which were conceived and made between 1967 and 1969. The related work First Light, a twenty-part series of aquatints which were made in 1989-90, will also form part of the exhibition, along with three unique light works from his more recent Magnetron Series. This is the second exhibition to be shown in Michael Hue-Williams's newly opened gallery, Albion, designed by Norman Foster."
"James Turrell's work deals with two extraordinarily 'everyday' elements of our lives - light and space. Combining the objectivity and precision of a scientist, with the finesse and descriptive language of an artist, Turrell's work explores the basic inter-relationships that exist between these elements, to create a perceptual art form that has won him not only wide-spread critical acclaim within the international art world, but also respect and admiration from across the fields of science and architecture."
