Hel Yes! is a pop-up restaurant and concept space mascarading as an installation dedicated to all things Finnish that'll be showing during London Design Festival. Boundary-pushing to the max, the wittily named installation is run by former HIM keyboard player Antto Melasniemi along with London-based Finns, Mia Wallenius and Klaus Haapaniemi.
Running from 15 September-3 October 2010, patrons of Hel Yes! can expect to dine on Linda Bergroth bespoke tables, Alvar Aalto's iconic 403 chairs (in never-before-seen colors) and feast on Chef Antto Melasniemi's traditional Finnish menu. The merging of excellence in design and food is part of a lead up to the Helsinki World Design Campaign 2010 program and is setting up to be a highlight of the London Design Festival.
