Just wanted to wish our good friend at Shooting People a big Happy 10th Birthday. They have been described the by director Morgan Spurlock as "a necessity for anyone who works, lives and breathes independent film", and I tend to agree.
I first met Jess and Cath [picture above with Mike Figgis] back in 1998 when they were thinking about setting up Shooting People as they wanted some advice about how I was running the Protein Feed mailout. Needless to say, they I didn't need to say much as they had the very capable Mr Tily already on-board running things. Usually you receive presents on your birthday, but SP want to give you one back ... if you join before the 10 December you get 10 weeks membership extra free - that's 62 weeks for the price of 52, sounds good to me.
