Last Thursday saw a 2,000 capacity crowd witness the conclusion of the month long search for the UK's number one rhymer at the '8 Mile' MC championships in London, with eight finalists from across the UK throwing down for the title. Truth be told the final result wasn't really in any doubt from the start, with Class A looking more and more like Neo with each passing round. Class A went on to take the title and the £10,000 home entertainment system. Overall the night was stretched out for way too long, but the high point of the night was Pharoahe Monch's excellent performance before the last battle round.
