Apple have replaced their iPod mini model with a new addition to the iPod family, the [iPod nano](http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/?ref=protein.xyz) as well as unveiling [iTunes 5](http://www.apple.com/itunes/?ref=protein.xyz).

The new flash-drive based nano is 'as thin a a pencil', and packs 4GB of music space, a full colour screen and the click wheel from the standard iPod. This release is also timed with the unveiling of [iTunes 5](http://www.apple.com/itunes/?ref=protein.xyz), which adds a tweaked interface, playlist folders and outlook integration to automatically sync contact & calendar details to your iPod. Nice.
