Public installation artist and New Orleans resident [Candy Chang](http://candychang.com/?ref=protein.xyz) is bringing New Orleans back into our consciousness with her project [I Wish This Was](http://candychang.com/i-wish-this-was/?ref=protein.xyz), a simple but really effective way of getting residents’ wants and needs across.

Voicing what they want on vinyl stickers that were available for free in cafes, bookstores, bars, general hang outs, people could stick them up on vacant building and create a grid of hope like in the photo above. Really moving.
