Wouldn't it be great if visiting another country was simply a mouse click away?  
  
Canadian agency [Teehan+Lax](http://www.teehanlax.com/labs/?ref=protein.xyz) have combined our obsession for Google Street View and road-tripping to create a powerful web tool that stitches thousands of Google Street View photos together, creating an animated [‘hyperlapse’](http://hyperlapse.tllabs.io/?ref=protein.xyz). Users just need to pick starting and finishing points on the map, and sit back and enjoy their virtual 'drive-through'. The site currently has a viewing mode of 60-frames-per-second, for greater accessibility.   
  
Hyperlapse works best on Chrome, and runs better on a powerful machine. All source code has also been made readily available [here](https://github.com/TeehanLax/Hyperlapse.js?ref=protein.xyz), so developers can play around with it and enjoy higher frame rates and better image quality. Everyone else can just pretend for a few seconds to be riding into South African sunset, or crossing the Manhattan Bridge.
