The good folks at [Helios Interactive](http://heliosinteractive.com/?ref=protein.xyz) appear to be bringing us another step closer to the ubiquitous, though still fantastical, ['*Minority Report* interface'](http://www.prote.in/feed/2012/05/zeron?ref=protein.xyz).

"In this simple but visual example we are using a grasping hand to draw 3D ribbons based on the hand position or navigating the camera within 3D space. Users can use a hand pose gesture to easily toggle between drawing and camera mode. The application is running on a Samsung transparent LCD panel which displays white pixels as being transparent."

It seems to be a small step in the right direction.
