Rumours have proved to be truthful with the announcement of a remix collaboration between [Jamie xx](http://www.myspace.com/jamiexxlondon?ref=protein.xyz) and [Gil Scott Heron](http://gilscottheron.net/?ref=protein.xyz). Earlier this year Gil Scott Heron released a new album, his first in 13 years – *I’m New Here* – and Jamie xx has produced a reworking of all 13 tracks, now re-titled – *We’re New Here.* The first single *NY is [Killing Me](http://www.werenewhere.com/?ref=protein.xyz)* is out now.
