Our friends over at [Start Mobile](http://www.startmobile.net/?ref=protein.xyz) have teamed up with Adobe to launch New Art for a New Medium. Using Adobe's new mobile [Flash Lite](http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/devices/getting%5Fstarted.html?ref=protein.xyz) technology, artists are invited to submit their artwork for global distribution and local props. "The mobile phone has become an integral part of our global culture, and a medium for every kind of content, including art," said Gary Kovacs, vice president of Product Management and Marketing for Mobile and Devices at Adobe. "With Flash shipping on over 65 million mobile devices and consumer electronics products, artists working with Start Mobile are assured that their work will be accessible to a huge worldwide audience."
