Bringing together the world of science and music, [Brainwaves](http://www.run-riot.com/music/blaze-faster-sound-brainwaves-feat-mira-calix-anna-meredith-members-aurora-orchestra-wiltons-m?ref=protein.xyz) is a new music exhibition at [Wilton’s Music Hall](http://www.wiltons.org.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) in London inspired by the sounds MRI scanning. The show will feature a piece of music by composers Mira Calix and Anna Meredith that will use a new and exciting mixture of acoustic and electronic sounds to represent the process of undergoing an MRI scan.

Calix and Mereditch have also collaborated with design studio [Loop.ph](http://loop.ph/bin/view/Loop/WebHome?ref=protein.xyz) to create a multimedia installation as part of the exhibition called Neural Nest.

The show opens on the 22nd of this month, and with production backing from the [Barbican](http://www.barbican.org.uk/?ref=protein.xyz), we expect it will be a sensory experience not to be missed.
