It would appear that, at the height of his commercial and critical powers, Marshall Mathers - AKA Slim Shady AKA Eminem - has bowed out of public life completely, giving up his solo career to concentrate on being a dad to his eighy-year-old daughter Hailie. The hip-hop star, 32, yesterday axed his European Anger Management Tour, claiming 'exhaustion'. This shock announcement has come only a month before he was due to appear in Milton Keynes, Edinburgh and Manchester. In what can only be described as a massive disappointment to his multitude of fans, this decision means that the 330,000 people in Britain alone that he was scheduled to appear before, will be seeking a refund and this will land a pretty hefty blow to Mr Mather's coffers; he is estimated to be losing £10 million in ticket receipts from UK fans and millions more in lost revenue from merchandise and album sales. \[Paramounth via Agenda Inc.\]
