New York’s [Storefront for Art and Architecture](http://www.storefrontnews.org/?ref=protein.xyz) and [OHWOW](http://oh-wow.com/?ref=protein.xyz) are hosting [Daniel Arsham/Snarkitecture’s](http://www.danielarsham.com/?ref=protein.xyz) explorations of the architecture of excavation.

Dig is an installation and performance, it transforms Storefront’s gallery space with a solid volume of white EPS architectural foam which is then, over the month-long period, excavated using simple tools (hammers, picks and chisels) creating an unexpected cavern for work and play.
