Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week, you should hopefully know that our gallery [18 Hewett Street](http://www.18hewettstreet.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) has been hosting [The Daniel Johnston Show](http://prote.in/feed/2012/04/the-daniel-johnston-show?ref=protein.xyz). Our [opening night ](http://prote.in/feed/2012/04/the-daniel-johnston-show1?ref=protein.xyz)was awesome and we didn't think it could get much better...until the man himself dropped in to check it out.

Daniel came down on Monday afternoon (the day after his sold-out gig at [Union Chapel](http://www.unionchapel.org.uk/?ref=protein.xyz)) to check out the space and eat some pizza with us (he opted for the cheese and tomato) before we took him over to comic book shop [Nobrow](http://www.nobrow.net/?ref=protein.xyz) to stock up on all the best comics.

This weekend is the last time opportunity to check out the show so if you haven't yet - come down! You can enjoy a coffee from our coffee shop, [Protein by DunneFrankowski](http://prote.in/feed/2011/12/protein-by-dunnefrankowski-now-open?ref=protein.xyz), while you're here as well.
