Getting word out about a new business venture is tough. How do you stand out in a busy market and reach potential customers in an effective way? [Cura TV](http://www.oncura.tv/?ref=protein.xyz) is a new service that aims to help emerging businesses by giving them a platform to advertise and sell their wares.  
  
Operating a little like a QVC for independent suppliers, the platform allows vendors to shoot quality informercials that customers can search for and view on the Cura TV app. Products can be bought directly from the app and suppliers can also use it monitor supplies. Currently focussing on London, Cura TV is looking to expand to the rest of the UK soon.  
  
As the 'maker movement' picks up steam and more people are inspired to make a go of it themselves, it's interesting to see services like this crop up that support independent businesses and help them compete with their larger rivals
