At the press of a single button, a receipt printer hacked by French designer [Thibault Brevet](http://www.thibault.io/?ref=protein.xyz) spews forth the full 4,534 word US Constitution in under 6 seconds.   
  
CONSTI2GO is an intriguing machine with the sole purpose of printing the US Constitution. A brilliant example of a single function device, within seconds anyone can walk away with the fundamental legal rights of the American citizen.   
  
This project was commissioned by [Jeff Goldenson](http://buildingways.com/?ref=protein.xyz) as part of the [Labrary.bike](http://labrary.bike/?ref=protein.xyz) exhibition at [SXSW](http://sxsw.com/?ref=protein.xyz), a pop-up festival of library experiments. As our connection to information becomes more instantaneous, projects like this keep traditional institutions relevant and at the forefront of our thinking.
