We do love it when art and food come together. The [Burgermat](http://www.burgermat.com/?ref=protein.xyz) show is an exhibition at [Beach London](http://beachlondon.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz) celebrating the humble hamburger. In June, burger blogger [Burgerac](http://www.burgerac.com/?ref=protein.xyz) teamed up with pop-up project [Burger Monday](http://youngandfoodish.com/events/burgermonday/?ref=protein.xyz) for an event for which he invited 24 of his favourite artists to create burger-themed paper placemats. Now these artworks are being exhibited in a gallery space. Artists and graphic designers involved include fashion brand Lazy Oaf’s [Gemma Shiel](http://www.lazyoaf.co.uk/about%5Fgemma?ref=protein.xyz), [Crispin Finn](http://crispinfinn.com/?ref=protein.xyz) and [James Joyce](http://jamesjoyce.co.uk/?ref=protein.xyz). The Burgermat show is on display at London’s Beach, a dynamic space in Shoreditch that encompasses a gallery, bookshop and cafe. Limited edition prints of the placemats will be up for grabs at reduced prices at the show.
