Hey DJ, turnip up! A beatbox except with beets making the beats. Get it? Designer [Scott Garner](http://scott.j38.net/?ref=protein.xyz) has utilised the tiny, user friendly computer processor, [Rasperry Pi](http://www.raspberrypi.org/?ref=protein.xyz), to turn a wooden rack holding beetroots into an interactive drum machine. The vegetables are touch activated and each one activates a different sample, allowing users to make their own sounds. What’s next? Bassparagus?
