Utilizing [Microsoft's Kinect](http://www.xbox.com/en-US/kinect?ref=protein.xyz) and a [RepRap](http://reprap.org/?ref=protein.xyz) 3D printer, they‚Äôve customized software developed using openFrameworks and openKinect to allow passers-by to capture themselves posing, this then gets digitized, triangulated and 3D printed into their own army-man style souvenir. We sense 3D printing is going to take off big time, with the DIYers like [blablabLAB](http://www.blablablab.org/?ref=protein.xyz) now and possibly 3D-scanned souvenirs to take home at museums and other tourist attractions to follow.
