# Art Relay

This collaborative venture involves artists, musicians and designers from across the world working together in teams of four to create a piece of work ‘relay-style’. The piece of art is passed from one person to the next, with each person building on the previous one’s efforts to create a final product which is set to reach Hoxton Square’s [KK Outlet](http://www.kkoutlet.com/?ref=protein.xyz) on 3rd August.

Using a mixture of mediums, each team is working around an Olympic-inspired theme referencing the more celebratory such as patriotism and victory to the more malefic issues of drugs, surveillance and displacement.

Much like the [Exquisite Forest](http://prote.in/feed/2012/07/the-exquisite-forest?ref=protein.xyz) project we wrote about last week, it’s great to see artists collaborating in this way. And - Olympic nay-sayers take note - it’s also great to see tthe Olympics spawning such creativity within the city.
