# Alice Waese UK solo show

Last night saw the launch of Canadian-born artist and designer [Alice Waese's](http://http//www.alicewaese.com/?ref=protein.xyz) first [UK solo show](http://prote.in/feed/2012/09/alice-waese-uk-solo-show?ref=protein.xyz) at our [18 Hewett Street](www.18hewettstreet.com) gallery. Trained in both garment design and fine art, the exhibition showcases a selection of her delicate hand drawn artworks, sculptural pieces and intricate jewellery, all never before shown in the UK.

The private view was a great success with lots of people showing up to check out the show, enjoy some [F.A.T](http://fffaaattt.com/?ref=protein.xyz) treats, and drink some beer.

Running until 14th October, be sure to come down and check it out for yourself. All the artwork will be on sale in the gallery, alongside a collection of bespoke tees sold at 18 Hewett Street exclusively and the [Protein Store](http://prote.in/product/tshirt-by-alice-waese?ref=protein.xyz) online.
