From 13 May - 16 Jul, 2011 we’ll have the chance to see some the most prominent pieces from the artist’s extensive collection of work from the past 6 years including his film Second Ring (2005) and the Marble Chair (2008). The exhibition follows the major public installation [Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads](http://www.zodiacheads.com/?ref=protein.xyz) which will open at Somerset House on the 12th May, originally set up in New York on 2nd May. Amongst all the controversy in [Ai Wei Wei’s detention](http://www.freeaiweiwei.org/?ref=protein.xyz) it’s easy to overlook his work, this show reminds us why he remains a compelling and acclaimed figure in the art world.
